It’s common knowledge that the Tolkien estate hasn’t been very found of Peter Jackson’s adaptation of the books to the big screen, however, in the past they’ve kept quite mum about it. The son of J.R.R Tolkien recently decided to speak openly about it in an no-holds barred interview with Le Monde magazine and here’s an piece of what he had to say.. (it doesn’t sound too good)
“They eviscerated the book by making it an action movie for young people aged 15 to 25,”
Also noting that he turned down a meeting with Peter Jackson.
